English will be the medium of teaching trough the course duration.
Yes it is not only recognized in India but almost all over the world. As per the latest Gazette of Government of India all the graduates of foreign medical institutions are required to clear screening test to be conducted twice a year by National Board of Examination to be get registered by the medical council of India. If a graduate not back to the India and wishes to work in other foreign country like USA, England or Europe then he is not supposed to give this screening test. but he has to follow rules for particular country. Many of BSMU graduates are working in USA, DUBAI, EU. Countries, Canada, and many more.
> minimum 50% marks in physics + Biology + Chemistry including practical in 12th science.
> for reserved category we are entitled to give admission at 40% according to medical council of India.
> candidate must be above 17 year of age
For first year students there is a window period from 1st September to 15th November to start their academic year, From 2nd year on words students supposed to reach the university by 1st September.
No we don't require any such examination. At BSMU we follow the advance system of teaching (ECTS - European Credit Transfer System) students are divided in small groups, in every practical class the teacher students ratio is like this allows teacher to concentrate on the performance of every student, As being a doctor is more about practical training and ECTS delivers it.
There multi storied hostels are dedicated for foreign students all the hostels are owned and run by Government Hostels are equipped with central Heating System, Continuous ware supply, contain study room cum library.
As the university is Govt. Electricity , water & cooking gas is free.
In the basement of hostel Indian mess cum grocery Shop is situated, with a sitting for more than 250 students food is served to students there times a day this is special facility (Not luxury) for students so they eat Indian food in the starting years while they get adjusted with the level ford.
Out of 1200 Indian students studying in BSMU than 550 are girls students, more than 100 girls have graduated and successfully practicing in india
Currently more then 700 Students are paying fees through bank loans.
